Biography

Mary Maclean is an artist working with photography. Her work explores the representations of the experience of place, questioning the relationship between the photographic image and the subjective experience of socialised, architectural space. Awards include an Abbey Award at the British School at Rome, the Pollock Krasner Foundation Award and Visiting Fellow in Painting at Winchester School of Art. Maclean lives and works in London. She is Tutor at the Royal Academy Schools.
