Civic   Gallery 33 Berlin

A series of large scale photographic images record public spaces recently absented by their audiences: stages and podiums within vacated halls and meeting places. The installation of these works is planned so that the viewer is reflected in the surface of the works and positioned back into the spaces represented. Maclean investigates the structures that inform public and private space focusing on the precariousness of these socially evolved paradigms.
